Cliff Happy died suddenly on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014, at the age of 51. After serving 22 years in the US Marine Corp and rising to the rank of First Sergeant, he used his education and experience to better the lives of others, teaching a wide range of social science classes at schools including the Arkansas School for Mathematics Sciences and the Arts, where he was the sponsor of the school’s award-winning Model UN team. He was respected and beloved by students and colleagues alike.
An omnivorous reader and inventive workaholic, Cliff found time to write eight novels when he wasn’t traveling the world with his treasured family. His giving heart led him to become an organ donor. Because of Cliff’s selflessness four lives were saved, and countless others improved and enhanced with his tissue and cornea donations.
