THEORY: The age of rocks and fossils can be ascertained by radiometric dating. (E. g, uranium/lead, potassium/argon, etc).
FACT: These types of dating methods are based on assumptions that cannot be scientifically tested. The decay rate is assumed to be constant, but much scientific evidence supports the view that decay rates alter under different conditions.
CHALLENGE: Take three bags of cement. Keep one in a compartment at room temperature. Keep another in a damp basement. Immerse the third in water. See if they all solidify at the same rate.
THEORY: The age of fossils can be assumed from the position in the ‘Geologic Column’ in which they are found.
FACT: The ‘Geologic Column’ appears in its entirety only on paper. In any given location on earth, vast geologic periods of time are either missing, in the wrong order, or even inverted. The fact that strata which is supposed to be billions of years old lies over soil supposedly only millions of years old still remains unanswered.
CHALLENGE: Make inquiries in order to try and find out whereabouts in the world even as much as two thirds of the so-called ‘Geologic Column’ appears in the right order.
THEORY: Vestigial organs, non-functional organs that we have discarded from our pre-human days, are evidence of evolution.
FACT: Evolutionists once listed 186 such organs. However, with increasing knowledge this list has shrunk to about four. Even the function of the appendix and the tonsils are now known to be defences against disease. The coccyx bones (those at the bottom of the spine), which evolutionists like to point out, are the useless vestiges of our former tails; serve as the anchor for certain pelvis muscles. Also if the coccyx is removed, one cannot sit properly.
THEORY: Evolution came about by crossbreeding.
FACT: Hybrids are nearly all sterile, and with those few that are sometimes not sterile, this process ceases only after a few generations. Furthermore, hybridisation is unknown among animals in a free, wild state.
THEORY: During embryonic development every individual goes through the same stages by which it evolved from a primitive form.
FACT: The evidence for this theory was purposely faked by the scientist, Ernst Haeckel, in order to get it accepted. Quaintly, though, some evolutionists continue to use this fallacy as an argument.
THEORY: Allowed enough time, things move from simple to more complex. E. g. matter into planets and stars, single cells into human beings, etc.
FACT: This is in direct conflict to the second law of Thermodynamics, which states that things tend to run down and deteriorate in time. Anything that is hot cools down, high things become lower, order turns to disorder, machinery wears out and perfect goods become imperfect with age. It is patently obvious to everyone that the natural process for everything, without human intervention, is to get worse with the passing of time. This is known in science as increased entropy. Gardens turn to weeds, cars turn to rust, clocks wind down. Randomness cannot produce higher order.
CHALLENGE: Point out a situation where any of the above doesn’t happen.
THEORY: Evolutionists now agree that evolution is developing by punctuating equilibrium. These are sudden changes in the process of evolution.
FACT: First the theory was that evolution took place by acquired characteristics, next it was thought to be by survival of the fittest, then by cross breeding, then mutations, then micro-mutations and now by punctuated equilibrium. Clearly, each new theory of evolution is a tacit rejection of the old one. Punctuated equilibrium once again ignores the fact that a male and female of the same species must undergo the same changes in exactly the same way, in the same location, during the same limited time frame for the organism to survive. Such complimentary chance events are beyond credible likelihood.
CHALLENGE: If you told someone that you believed the ‘Theory of Evolution’, which of the many theories would you say was the actual right one?
THEORY: Evolution is an indisputable scientific fact.
FACT: Getting people to believe that the theory of evolution has been one of the most successful con-tricks of all time.
You will have gathered by now that the theory of evolution is based on myths. It has been devised to turn people away from accepting the truth revealed by God in the Holy Bible. If evolution took place then there was no Adam and Eve. Thus there would have been no original sin. So there would have been no need for Jesus to shed His blood to redeem us from sin. No wonder the devil encourages belief in this false theory.
So how did we get here? The answer is found at the beginning of the Bible.
