Only the strong survive, folks, and you need some level of fitness and well being to compete. I recently turned 55. I led police recruits in extensive physical fitness testing for 25 years at my law enforcement agencies and our training academies, and today my knees and feet can’t take the pounding of running any more. However, I haven’t stopped training, and today I make good use of stationary bicycles at the local YMCA. We older folks are going to have to compete with a much younger crowd of amoral or immoral aggressors in the event of civil breakdown. While we have a wealth of experience on our side that will allow us to prevail, we won’t succeed if we have let ourselves deteriorate. It’s up to you. How serious are you about surviving?
