He Was My Chief is the first English language edition of the text and includes a new introduction by Roger Moorhouse. Material relating to the author’s internment and post-war relationship with Albert Zoller has been cut from this edition but details of her trial have been retained. This period in the author’s life has also been summarised in the introduction by Roger Moorhouse. Additional material has been abridged due to copyright restrictions.
