Сегодня мы все еще боремся с институциями, которые флорентийские патриции, голландские олигархи, испанские конкистадоры, французские и английские землевладельцы, купцы и бюрократы создали для сохранения тех привилегий, которых они добились в результате элитных конфликтов. Мы поймем нашу собственную социальную реальность и опознаем возможности переделать наш собственный мир, когда осознаем процессы, при помощи которых элиты и классы преодолели старые ограничения и создали новые, которые и сделали их самих и делают нас капиталистами поневоле.
