An Elementary School in Massachusetts decided to cancel their annual Halloween costume parade to avoid any possible cultural appropriation. The school principal told parents in a letter, “During our conversations, we discussed how the costume parade is out of our ordinary routine and can be difficult for many students.” He went on to say that, “the parade is not inclusive of all the students and it is our goal each and every day to ensure all individual differences are respected.”198

Other elementary schools in Wisconsin and New Mexico did the same thing.199 But it’s not just elementary schools which are afraid of Halloween. This same stupidity has infected college campuses across the country, and many major schools are now fearful of the holiday.

A now famous incident happened at Yale University in 2015 when a mob of one hundred angry students surrounded a school administrator and berated him because he didn’t support banning “offensive” Halloween costumes. He sent out an email explaining his position and was actually very sympathetic and supportive of SJWs cultural appropriation concerns, but refused to ban certain costumes.

He encouraged students to, “actively avoid those circumstances that threaten our sense of community or disrespect, alienate or ridicule segments of our population based on race, nationality, religious belief or gender expression,” but did say that students had a “right to express themselves.”200 Well, that triggered them.

One student literally shouted at him, “It is your job to create a place of comfort and home for the students that live in Silliman… Do you understand that!” When he started to respond, she shrieked, “Be quiet! Why the fuck did you accept the position? Who the fuck hired you?” When he started to reply, she interrupted him again, yelling at him to step down.

“If that is what you think about being a Master, then you should step down. It is not about creating an intellectual space! It is not! Do you understand that? It’s about creating a home here! You are not doing that. You’re going against that!”201 Video of the bizarre incident went viral, and he later resigned.202

The Delta Sigma Phi fraternity at the University of Michigan was forced to cancel an Egyptian themed party after the president of the Egyptian Student Association complained about it and accused them of cultural appropriation on Twitter. “I am the president of the Egyptian student association and these whites don’t know what they got themselves into,” he warned them.203

An Egyptian Sphinx is incorporated into the fraternity’s seal, along with a pyramid to symbolize stability and longevity, and a Facebook post for the party said it was to honor their Egyptian roots. Instead of denouncing their ridiculous critics, Delta Sigma Phi released a statement saying, “We sincerely apologize to anyone who was hurt by the theme choice. We have learned our lesson and will take more precaution in the future when deciding themes for events. We pride ourselves on being a diverse social fraternity with members from a wide variety of religions, races, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and other identities. It would never be the intention to make anyone from any group… feel unwelcome or uncomfortable.”204

People need to stop apologizing to these idiots and either ignore them or mock them for their hyper-sensitivity and paranoid delusions that ruin everything. If you give them an inch, they will try to take a mile, so stop caving in to their demands!

Hawaiian Bobblehead Doll

A Lyft passenger videotaped herself berating her driver because he had a Hawaiian bobblehead doll attached to his dashboard which had a grass skirt that swayed back and forth as the car drove around. The passenger deemed it “racist,” and didn’t shut up about it for over five minutes, ultimately calling the driver a “fucking dumbass idiot,” causing him to pull the car over where he then asked her to get out multiple times before she finally complied.205

The woman said she was going to turn her video over to Gawker (before their bankruptcy) in order to “expose” the driver and “turn him into an Internet meme” because she was so disgusted by his “racist” bobblehead. The irony is, she herself became another SJW meme after it went viral and provided the world with one more piece of evidence that social justice warriors are nutjobs.

“I don’t know why my beautiful Lady Lola is offending you,” the driver said, and informed her that he is Asian. He was fired immediately after the passenger complained to Lyft, but was later re-hired after the woman’s video went viral, showing what really happened. But the fact that someone could get fired from their job after one customer called them a racist without any evidence at all proves what dangerous waters we are in.

“Blackface”

White people painting their faces brown to look like a black person as a joke or as part of a Halloween costume is considered one of the most racist things a person can do in today’s society. Black people lose their minds and feel they need to give a history lesson on blackface and gripe about how offended they are by it and think it’s the end of the world. But when black people dress up as white people, painting their faces peach color like the Wayans brothers in their film White Chicks, that’s okay because life is a one-way street to liberals.

Plenty of comedians have done bits in blackface, including Howard Stern, Sarah Silverman, Jimmy Kimmel, and others (not to mention Robert Downey Jr.’s famous character in Tropic Thunder), but with the recent shift in society’s sensibilities, most comedians would never risk doing such things today. But it’s not just blackface comedy skits that trigger liberals. It’s also face swap apps that digitally alter your face to make you look like someone else.

After Snapchat released a Bob Marley “face swap” feature on April 20th 2017 (4/20, the unofficial marijuana “holiday”) allowing users to have their face replaced by Bob Marley wearing a rasta hat and dreads, it was immediately denounced as “racist.” The Bob Marley estate, which controls the rights to his image and intellectual property, actually approved the face swap filter, and didn’t see anything wrong with it.

The Washington Post took the craziness a step further by declaring, “It’s not just Snapchat’s Bob Marley lens: Every face-swap app has a ‘blackface’ option.”206

Girl’s Prom Dress

A high school girl’s prom picture went viral after SJWs freaked out because it was a Chinese design, and you guessed it — she’s white. “My culture is NOT your goddamn prom dress,” one Asian man responded, in a tweet that sparked the controversy causing it to explode into a worldwide news story. His tweet got over 172 thousand likes.207 While most people shared word of his hateful comments to show how insane SJWs are, countless others supported him.

“Was the theme of prom casual racism?” asked one woman.208 “This thread is funny because it’s nothing but white people justifying her wearing this dress. That’s like having a conversation with whites about them using the N-word. It shouldn’t be a convo in the first place, don’t do it,” said another.209

If a white girl can’t wear a Chinese prom dress because it’s “cultural appropriation,” then I guess Chinese people will have to stop wearing blue jeans. My culture is not your damn costume Jackie Chan! Unfortunately this is not the end of the Left’s distorted views about racism. It’s just the beginning.
