The parenting website BabyCenter, which is a large forum of parents, said there are more conversations today supporting “unisex” names.365 And as the gender-bending fetish continues to spread we’ll likely see baby girls named Bob, and boys named Brooke. There is literally no end to the depths of depravity these people are trying to unleash on society. And the damage being inflicted on these innocent children is immeasurable.
Gender Reveal Parties
Cosmopolitan magazine wants all children raised gender neutral too. In the summer of 2017 they published an article titled “Dear Parents-to-Be: Stop Celebrating Your Baby’s Gender,” complaining about soon-to-be parents having “gender reveal parties” that were created by the “baby industrial complex.” The writer, a proud feminist, said she “cannot stomach” them and, “Cutting into a pink or blue cake seems innocent enough—but honestly, it’s not.”366
She went on to say that the parties were “potentially damaging” to the children and continued on into the usual diatribe about how “gender is different from sex,” whining, “For starters, gender-reveal parties don’t actually reveal gender—they reveal anatomy. Gender is a wholly different thing, inextricably tied to the social constructs around it.” She then went on to say that the reason we associate pink with girls is because of Adolf Hitler. “Hitler—yes, Hitler—feminized the color pink by forcing gays to wear triangles in that shade during World War II,” she writes.367
Yes, she really blamed Hitler for pink being feminine, and argued that since there are people who identify as transgender or neither gender (or one of the other 500 they’ve come up with by now) gender reveal parties aren’t “inclusive” enough because they leave out a cross-section of the population.
The article quotes an intersex baker who gets “queasy” from parents-to-be coming into the bakery and ordering gender reveal cakes for their parties. “The popularity of gender-reveal parties speaks to how powerful and central this binary is to our sense of identity,” she says. “Still, they make me a little queasy. By collapsing gender expression, gender identity, and sex, you’re doing everyone a disservice, because no one buys into the whole package all the time.”368
Another feminist blog ranted against gender reveal parties, calling them a sham. “They’re a reinforcement of binary gender. Despite the mainstream trans visibility and gay rights movements, gender reveals show that we are traditionalists who are eager to amplify dominant cultural narratives. It still belies an obsession with fitting people into one of two neat categories—Pistols or Pearls — and imposes gendered traits and behaviors before a child has even left the womb.”369
The misfit goes on to say, “Celebrating that your baby is destined to either experience a lifetime of emotional suppression while being encouraged to be violent and self-serving or be treated as a second-class citizen with avenues of opportunity withheld, strikes me as a tad macabre—but maybe I’m just bad at getting into the spirit of these things.”370
She concludes, “Catering to this hope, or rather fear, is profitable. Between the baked goods, party favors, and event planning that goes into these affairs, capitalism is supporting cisnormative narratives as usual while making money off the whole thing. It’s a nice, symbiotic relationship between data-mining social media, bakers with blue-and-pink frosting, and jittery cis parents wishing with all their hearts that their baby’s gender comes down to a simple coin flip that will remain unchallenged throughout the child’s life. Ultimately it boils down to just wanting the best for your baby, in a particularly trans-antagonistic way.”371
Boys Don’t Wear Dresses
A Formula One race car driver named Lewis Hamilton posted a brief video of his three-year-old nephew on Christmas morning wearing a “Princess Dress” where he asked the boy why he was wearing it and told him that boys don’t wear princess dresses. He wasn’t mean, or yelling at the kid, he was genuinely confused as to why his nephew was wearing a dress.
The PC police went nuts, claiming he was “bullying” the kid. The Huffington Post ran the headline, “Lewis Hamilton Mocks Nephew For Wearing A ‘Princess Dress’ On Christmas,”372 and other Leftist websites jumped on the story. He quickly deleted the video and issued an apology, saying, “Yesterday I was playing around with my nephew and realized that my words were inappropriate so I removed the post. I meant no harm and did not mean to offend anyone at all. I love that my nephew feels free to express himself as we all should.”373
He went on to say, “My deepest apologies for my behavior as I realize it is really not acceptable for anyone, no matter where you are from, to marginalize or stereotype anyone,”374 and “I have always been in support of anyone living their life exactly how they wish and I hope I can be forgiven for this lapse in judgment.”375
In January 2018 Abercrombie announced they were releasing a gender-neutral clothing line for kids called the “Everybody Collection” consisting of pink clothes for boys and camouflage designs for girls.376 There’s even a company selling “lingerie for men” and Milan Fashion Week in 2018 featured men wearing miniskirts.377
Many schools in England have introduced gender-neutral uniforms after some parents and students became upset that girls had to wear skirts while boys wore trousers (pants), so now all students wear pants and skirts are banned.378 Other schools are now allowing girls to wear pants and boys to wear skirts if they want, in order to “end gender stereotypes.”379
Boys and Girls Toys
In 2015, Target eliminated the “boys” and “girls” aisles in its toy department and bedding section to support the “gender neutral” movement.380 Leftists are also complaining to McDonalds because their Happy Meals offer different toys for girls and boys. “I remember my mother being asked whether the Happy Meal was for a boy or a girl when I was a child,” says one activist. “Are we really still so far behind on this gender stereotyping thing?”381
Another activist decided to “investigate” her local McDonalds to see what kinds of toys customers were offered. She then filed a complaint with the state’s Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, claiming McDonalds was discriminating against people based on their sex!382
The Huffington Post celebrated her activism, writing, “It might be the end of gendered toys at McDonald’s, and you have a teen to thank for it.”383 Someone even started a petition on Change.org urging them to “Stop Promoting Gender Stereotypes with Happy Meal Toys.”384
Samsung recently released a commercial encouraging people to “do” what others said they can’t, which featured a series of inspirational scenes of children trying to walk for the first time and learning to ride a bike, and athletes playing sports trying to show how people can break through their perceived limitations and accomplish great things. But included in the commercial is a brief clip of a young boy in a toy store with his dad, and he is shown holding a doll so the dad snaps at him, “You can’t get a doll. Just get this one,” as he holds up something else.385 The message is that the father is an old fashioned bigot for not wanting his son to play with Barbie.
