Убеждение, что вознаграждение можно измерить только деньгами, явно устарело. Действительно, удовлетворение низших потребностей можно купить за деньги; но когда они уже удовлетворены, тогда людей можно стимулировать только высшим «вознаграждением» — сопричастием, привязанностью, достоинством, уважением, одобрением, почетом — а также созданием возможности для самоактуализации и утверждения высших ценностей — истины, красоты, эффективности, совершенства, справедливости, порядка, справедливости и т. п.

Здесь явно есть о чем подумать, и не только поклонникам Маркса или Фрейда, но и сторонникам военно-приказного, «начальственного» или «либерального» методов управления.
