В качестве типичного примера данных, представленных в таблицах, возьмем иерархию потребностей по Маслоу [321], которая, по мнению нескольких исследователей, может также служить схемой развития [243]. Она строится следующим образом: сначала младенец должен удовлетворять свои простые физиологические потребности, такие, как голод, — это наш алиментарный уроборос. После того, как телесное «эго» младенца возникает из состояния слияния с окружением, он сталкивается с потребностями безопасности, с необходимостью обезопасить себя, как стабильное существо перед лицом Великого Другого. Когда система самости постепенно эволюционирует до состояния вербально — членского познания и осознания, она сталкивается с потребностью в принадлежности(и любви), то есть с потребностью быть членом какой‑либо группы, большей, чем собственная телесная самость. По мере того как самость рано или поздно созревает до стадий среднего и позднего «эго», когда отчетливо возникает само «эго», наступает черед потребностей в самоуважении (к такому выводу пришел и Карл Роджерс) [187]. Когда индивид эволюционирует до состояния зрелого Кентавра, появляется тенденция к возникновению потребностей в само — актуализации(как мы видели в главе 7). И, наконец, «за пределами само — актуализации» находится потребность в трансценденции — в трансперсональные области, тонкую и причинную. Все это суммировано в Таблице 4 в виде простого перечисления стадий по Маслоу рядом с соответствующими им стадиями нашей собственной схемы.
