COMPLEMENTS TRANSPOSITION. Especially in poetry, one sometimes happens to feel the desire of transposing the complement before the subject. In this case an ending n(-on, -an) may be added to the complement, in order to avoid any danger of misinterpretation :
patron libir fllyo = filyo libir patro the son loved the father fllyon libir patro = patro libir filyo the father loved the son felon mirir lo fem = lo fem mirir lo fel the woman looked at the girl femon mirir lo fel = lo fel mirir lo fem the girl looked at the woman.
This ending n may be used only in case of transposition; beginners may totally ignore it.
For Neo’s OPTIONAL GENITIVE see page 162.
