Alas, the loss of my dear friend did not make writing this second book any easier and will probably forever change my view if not just of this series but writing in general as she was perhaps my biggest helper and supporter. Heck, Into The Sea’s embrace would be a very different book if it weren’t for her, as she had a hand in helping me create several of the characters(Theseus most of all) and the world they live in. So to my dearest Sherlock Holmes, I thank you and I wish you all the best in your life.
This world I created, it has meant a lot to me and gives me hope for the future. Atalanta and her guys have a long journey ahead, and it will be an honor to write it.
So now, I would like to thank the people who’ve helped me crawl my way out of that dark place. My mother and my spouse. If it wasn’t for them physically pulling me out of bed, making sure I took care of myself and did their best to keep me hopeful, I doubt I would have been here today writing this.
Emilee, not only has she been the dedicated editor of The Nameless Syren Series, but also the loyal friend who has stuck by me through all my bull shit over the years. We may be very different people, but I hope those differences continue to make us the awesome team we are.
I would next like to thank Kat Quinn and Ashley Foote, two new friends who found me after everything and helped pull me from the rouble with their hilarious attitudes and strong personalities. Their friendship has really meant a lot to me over the past several months, and I don’t think they realize just how much, so I’m hoping telling them here helps them get it. Both are brand new authors with a lot of amazing talent and potential. I will be leaving their links down below, so check them out.
Lastly, I would like to thank my beta readers and those of you in my author group. Amy, Breyana, Mary, Theresa, and Meghan, my awesome and hilarious betas, have gone above and beyond, not only trying to help me perfect this book but give me ideas for books to come. We are fast becoming a mini family, and I look forward to working with them in the future. As for my reader group, you are everything, my readers, my supporters. Without readers and supporters, what is an author but a crazy person spewing words onto a page and having it sit there?
Thank you all.
And check out my besties and word wife’s works!

About The Author
Avery Thorn is the Pseudonym for the Young Adult author Jennifer Natoli and it’s a pretty cool fake name if I do say so myself. An artist from South Florida I’ve dabbled in all sorts of mediums, such as: paint, wood, clay, glass, and the classic pen and pencil. Not just visual arts either, as for many years I performed music with Tuba, the violin, and my own vocal cords. Writing and reading have always been my real passion though, and I love that I have the opportunity to get my stories in the hands of readers around the world.
