Every time we came up for a breath, I whispered her how much I loved her and how much I wanted to get into her pants when we got home. As soon as she was smiling, I would kiss her tenderly, drinking in her happiness.

When her body started shaking against mine, I hugged her tighter to myself.

“I kept my promise to you,” I said, kissing the edges of her mouth as she took deep breaths. The world faded away and it was just the two of standing in the middle of a fake road. “I told you that I would never forget you Olive Thorn, and it looks like my heart never did, sweetheart,” I tugged a piece of her hair, the familiar gesture making her lips wobble. “My world is a less scary place with you in it, baby. I will kiss you a thousand times every day if that’s what it takes to keep you in love with me for the rest of our days.”

Her tears mixed in with the rain, but she was still smiling up at me when she said, “You stole my little heart with just one dimple, you sneaky little thief. I never managed to fall out of love with you after that. I don’t think I know how to.”

“I never want you to learn. I’ll give you as many orgasms as you want along with the kisses.”

I kissed her.

“Why do I feel like you are trying to sell yourself to me? I might consider taking you if you promise you’ll do me in the screening room at your house. Maybe we can do it while we are watching something? Or listening? And I want to do it in the pool at least twice. Then I want do it in Devlin’s club, in one of those private rooms. And   maybe we can—”

I kissed her again. “I see you’re gonna work me like a slave. You know that they are recording us, don’t you?”

Her eyes widened in shock and I heard a few chuckles coming from the crew members.

“Kill me. Someone strike me with fake lightning, anything, please. It will look perfect for the movie. The author died while filming the last scene. Think about the box office numbers or whatever the hell…”

I chuckled and went for her lips again as Tanner changed angles and told us to keep going.

Leaning into her ear, I whispered, “I will fuck you anywhere and any time you want, Olive. Crook your little finger at me, and I’ll take you in a heartbeat, baby.”

“Jason, give me another kiss and we’ll wrap this up. Hold her face in your hands and go for it,” Tanner’s voice echoed to us.

“These lips?” I touched her lower lip with my thumb. “I never want you to feel someone else’s lips against what’s mine. I am it for you, Olive, the one, the right one—whatever you want to call it, I’m that.”

“Action!”

I kissed her some more, taking my time and tilting her head in my hands, sinking deeper into her until I didn’t know if it was her breathing life into me or if it was me being greedy and taking everything she was giving me so freely.

When I was done kissing her, I knew my hands weren’t shaking because of the cold.

“I love you, little one,” I whispered, out of breath at last.

“Surprisingly, you’ve been the best kind of heartache, Jason Thorn.” She smiled against my greedy lips and everything was perfect in a way it had never been before.

“That’s a wrap, folks!”

The End.

Books by Ella Maise

Were you intrigued by the new novel Olive was working on? If you were, you can read that emotional and oh-so-very sexy book right now!

Lost Prelude (Alexander & Maya #1)

My name is Maya, and I'm not the same girl I was a month ago.

There is an emptiness I carry around in my chest now. A broken heart caused by grief.

There are also dark nights where I have trouble breathing as I feel the heavy weight of loss rushing through my veins, painful moments where I can remember my entire being scream in agony as I held onto my father's cold, lifeless hand.

Then there is always a hero to every story, isn't there? A hero who I despised from the moment he opened his mouth.

His name is Alexander. He is my inevitable I never expected to find. The one my broken heart leads me to. His existence, his touch, everything he did to make my pain bearable will leave a mark on me forever.

Yet, I know that when I'm gone, he'll only remember me as a fading memory.

Lost Heartbeats (Alexander & Maya #2)

My name is Alexander, and I'm no fucking hero.

Not when I couldn't even save the little heartbeats I was supposed to protect with my life.

When a fist closes around my heart after a death brings me to my knees, I finally go after the woman I'd been craving for months. Not just because her beautiful face is the only thing that slips through the pain when I close my eyes, but because she has secretly carved a place for herself in my heart - leaving me with no choice.

But if I do this, if I make myself believe that I deserve her, will the choices I make ruin everything between us? Will she accept the fact that she doesn't get to leave me twice?

About the Author

I'm an avid reader. Therefore, a big dreamer. I love nothing more than to escape real life to find those very few magical moments in a book. I love how it has the power of stealing your worries away, putting a smile on your face, and of course sometimes making you crush on fictional characters. If I can manage to do even one of those things for a reader, I will be a happy writer.

I can't even begin to describe how exciting it is to give life to new characters and fall for them. It's a different kind of addiction I’m determined to keep alive.

I'm still searching for my own happy ending. Until that happens, I'll live vicariously through my own characters.

Acknowledgements

First of all, I owe a huge thank you to my new friend, Jasmine. Did I ever tell you that I love your name? No? Well, I do. I think it’s just as beautiful as your heart is. Maybe almost as beautiful as Olive’s name? Did you ask guys to marry you when you were little too? Seriously though, I owe you big time. For reading snippets even before the book was complete and getting so excited. For beta reading and leaving tons of comments as you were reading through, for laughing, for smiling, cheering Olive and Jason, for enjoying the sex scenes as much as you did! For everything, really. I don’t think I’ll let you go, so you’re pretty much stuck with me. And I’m pretty sure you can deal with that. Right? You love me, right?!

Another big, big thank you to my lovely and awesome editor, Caitlin. I know I messed up your schedule a bit—okay, maybe a lot—but, still, thank you so much for being so kind about it. And you’ll never know how happy it made me to hear that you enjoyed Jason’s and Olive’s story.

To my friends who are always there for me: Eryn, Natasha G, Rita, Natasha M, Suzette, Tanya, Athena. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for holding my hand at all times.

And last but not least, thanks to all the bloggers who spread the word of my novels. She probably won’t read this, but especially a humongous thank you to Natasha Tomic for sharing anything and everything I sent her way from the very beginning.

To my readers…I wouldn’t even know how to begin to thank you. You are amazing, each and every one of you. You simply rock! I hope this was an enjoyable read for you <3
